I must get a letter off to you to thank you for the interesting pictures you have sent regarding the development of the work in Vietnam. It has been very interesting to get a little insite into the history of Vietnam in this context --- especially from someone who has been involved right from the begining as you have.

Of course we also must remember that the good Lord has loved the people of Vietnam and been equally interested in their welfare long before the workers came.  -- and that he loves and  is equally intrested in you dear folks now even when the workers there would seem to have forsaken you.

We understand your feelings so well, but also have found the wonderful blessing and peace that there is in standing for truth and Christian values, even when this conviction leads us outside the little organizational world that the workers are so anxious to control.

It is a trial of our faith -- but we must stand true to these beautiful convictions that have been given us --- even if it should mean the  misunderstanding  of people arround us.  I am proud to be acquainted with all you folks in this way.

Sincerly and thankfully
