Ärende: Sv: Letter from Viet Nam

Hello dear folks in Vietnamn

I was saddened to get your letter and hear the painful story of the treatment you have recieved from the workers -- Although it is 12 years ago since our expulsion from the group, it is easy for me to share the frustration and and pain that you will be feeling.

I appreciate hearing from you about it all, as it is just another reminder for us of the correctness of the choices that led to us leaving the group -- a series of choices that has clearly led to a far richer moral life for us and our family than we ever had within the group. The wounds you feel today in your heart because of the obvious group betrayal, will heal with time (although they will leave their scarrs) and I am quite sure that you will also feel the amazing blessing involved in standing up for what you believe. This is really the essence of truth isn't it?

It would be interesting for me and my family to hear a little more about the situations and events that led to the workers betrayal of you and your family.  To me it is very encouraging to hear of folks who are willing to stand up for their faith, regardless the cost. I look forward to hearing again.

Sincerly and thank you very much for writing.

Edgar Massey and family
