Kindest greetings to Hoan, Thanh and Bau,

I have been very thankful for the trust you have given to share in your heartfelt concern for the situation in your country and in the lives of your families and freinds in Vietnam.  -- And I find it to be inspiring and humbling to me to hear of the  wonderful way you all have of dealing with your frustration and with your grief in a situation that nothing could have prepared you for. 
 

I remember  when we went through a similarly frustrating situation a number of years ago,  I thought about the children of Israel being moved to resist the Egyptian 'taskmakers' with their ever increasing burden making,  and  leave Egypt and head into a wilderness -- only trusting that God would find a way.   It had been Gods will that they came to Egypt 400 years earlier, but it was now Gods will that they leave it behind and follow his leadings toward something better.  It was wonderful that God felt he could trust these people to follow his leadings through the Red sea and into a wilderness, on their own.

I appreciate your concern for the others arround you --- and know that as you  keep true to the spirit that has led you thus far, it will be the inspiration that the others need to keep true to their convictions as well. These are the things that will bring satisfaction and fullfillment in life. Life is surely made up of unexpected bends in the road isn't it?

You mentioned your hope for a solution to the difficulties --- I have no doubt that a solution will open up -- but we often find that the solutions that time produces are quite different from the solutions that we had hoped for in the begining. Today I and my family are so thankfull for the 'solution' that has been given us -- Life is far richer that we could have imagined with our own solutions!!!
