Dear Uncle Edgar

Thank you for your reply letter, many thoughts in your letter as well as on line coincide with our thoughts. Especially the concept of God’s people or I have never for a moment regretted the choice we made to stand for truth . we are not only reading and translating letters and discusing them with your father but also represent our friends to exchange letters with overseers in many countries in English by email. My husband has been trusted not only because he is an English teacher but also an elder for more than 30 years. We are ourselves the victims that are swept away into this bad situation... and friends want to be in our side…J

Our first local worker and elders unite and stand for The Truth.

We are holding much of information, material, letters and even recordings these troubled things throughout  three past years.

We like to communicate our heart with you about these issues through the above information. But we want to have careful steps because the trust of our friends .

There are many workers that we respect, (although the workers have refused to visit us, even once,  ever since that time). We also have the same feeling as you…being betrayed by them. (they have ever come to have meals and stay at our house in many years…)

Now our family still be a harbor for our rest workers and friends. Maybe you too… in the future J.

So please wait for us for a short time more, in order to see how they solve these issues.  Because the things I have seen and read TTT make me believe only 10 % that they can solve the problem.  Nevertheless we still wait a miracle from our God.

We have peace and a bit of joy to have separated from them, we only regret  for our rest friends, they don’t  know anything and live in suffering great  misery.

My father has prepared already the answers for aunt  Cherie Kropp, but we want her to wait us for a short time more. Surely I will send these answers, in order anyone who want to know the two by two in Vietnam can have the understand from the beginning.

Thank you your letter…and longing to hear from you, because we all are God’s people without the limitation J.

Hoan & Thanh

Hello Minh Thanh and thank you very much for your good letter letting us know a little about your situation there in Vietnamn ... and about your efforts to help your father in his concerns and in his interests to keep in touch with others outside your country.  I was touched just thinking about you likely reading and translating letters and discusing them with your father .. trying to arrive at ways to deal with the events arround you.  -- This is a wonderful picture of us all just trying to find a way to read our own situation into the thoughts and spirits of the teaching and mind of Christ.  None of us want to do the wrong thing yet, we are sometimes forced to make choices and stand for moral principles without the understanding of the people arround us -- even without the understanding of those we may have trusted in so many ways.  Being willing to stand for truth, even if we must do it alone is an important test of our faith.

You asked about my status regarding fellowship with 'Gods people' ... 'Gods people' is a concept that unfortunately sometimes workers tend to regard as simply people that are members in their own organization. I have learned that the spirit of Christ that I love, is not something limited to a particular organization ... and we have found it a wondrous  freedom to be allowed to love and appreciate folks amongst us without the limitation of  only being allowed to respect and admire folks that have 'proffessed' in workers meetings.  As Jesus disciples found, this wonderful Spirit of Christ is sometimes found in the most unlikely of places.

I have never for a moment regretted the choice we made to stand for truth  -- even when it led to our rejection by the workers.  God has been wonderful in his blessing of peace and satisfaction these last 12 years and opened up so many new avenues of fellowship for us  -- (although the workers have refused to visit us, even once,  ever since that time).

I won't tire you with our feelings --- but I just wanted to send a note to tell you how much I appreciated hearing from you, and I surely hope that all will work out according to Gods will for you and your father. Give him my kindest greetings please. We think about you every day.

Sincerly
Edgar Massey
