Visit to the friends in  Suối Lạnh

We traveled more than 140 km to meet our friends in Suối Lạnh. The local friends were very happy because after more than 4 years, they had a gathering with many friends from many other places. Uncle Hoa often visit them. 
They live in a remote, deserted place without electricity. The Van cannot reach their houses because they live in the middle of rubber forest. Here are some pictures of them
1. The van must stop here. It can not move any farther.
2.At this place, we divided into two groups. The young and strong in walking group, the other transit by motorbikes.

We  had a wonderful time with each other. All friends worked closely together, reminded me a hymn "Cooperate together in serving God. Side by side in any situation sharing joy and sadness..."
One elder went to the main road waiting for the van, and leading the way. (No one in the van remembered the way, because it was changed). We contacted by phone time to time.
We couldn't imagine how God had done for us. He made our cup overwhelm with His blessing.
1. We have 25 friends from Saigon. We share the money for hire the van.
2. More than 10 motobikes are waiting for carrying the old or weak friends.
6. Almost the food were cooked by friends there, with the help of some sisters in other places.
    I brought sticky rice only.
8. Last time when uncle Hoa visited here there were 3 souls professing. Yesterday added one more, who stands behind uncle Hoa. His mother is the daughter of the landlord, not in the picture. He has been hearing the gospel more than 10 years. His mother's testimony in tear was "I have been praying for my son more than 10 years. Today, my son has decided along with me to serve God.
God have replied my prayer... I would be more faithful to give an example for my son serving God."

9. Uncle Trọng is my auntie's husband. One of his daughters is a worker, a great help to Darrel. His family was divided by this situation. He and his oldest daughter's family still keep on. The other daughters caused many troubles for him, whenever he wanted to join with us in special visit.

10. Mrs Bình, an ex.elder's wife is Mr Trọng's niece. Although uncle Trọng's daughter had spent a lot of money to take care for his heath. But he just wanted to stay with his niece Bình. He said he can find love and peace at her home.
12. The most worry of mine was the health of my parents, special my mother. On the way home I asked her "Are you tired?" She said "Yes, I am tired". Then I took a picture of her. But I hardly found out any tiredness in her face. She told me that "I'm tired but full of joy."
I do agree with my mother.

The fellowship at Suối Lạnh just a common visit of friends only. Not a special gathering, I was impressed with amount of friends wanting to come. I hardly believed our Sunday fellowship over 50 friends with harmony of love and unity among worker, elders, and friends. All members working together with whole heart.

Today I want to tell you the work of an elder couple Quang & Thủy live in Sông Ray. They are a great help to worker at any time. Quang’s brother also an elder and his niece is a young worker.

Since the time uncle Châu meet trouble, Quang & Thủy continue in the fellowship faithfully with F&W. Hearing uncle Hoa stopped co-operate with Darrel, he disagreed and raised many questions toward our situation in VN by letters or through phone. We had a visit with friends there on August 2010, Quang & Thủy invited us passing a night at their house. Of course many friends in the countryside didn’t know the reason why uncle Châu had to stop his work. Just heared the information from their workers. Somtimes it was not right in details or made up story only. Hearing the other side from us they was supprised… Then Q&T raised many questions to overseer and workers. Uncle Lyles answer did not satisfy them. So they had decided not to co-operate with any sides. Just both of them worship God with his true spirit and whole heart. They cut off all connection with F&W in a year, without any phone or discussion. Just wait and see what happenned.

After one year they decided to have fellowship with us for seeing uncle Hoa calmly continued his sacrifice for friends and lost souls around the country as he used to be. Special his message are full with the Spirit of God.

Now they are the great help to God’s family at that region, including Suối Lạnh (nearly 30Km far from Sông Rây). He undertakes all things and works very good. He has not been working alone, asking friends to cooperate with him in God’s work too. That is the reason why the church there is growing up.

We have 4 added within 3 months. 
 



 
 

Yes, we are full of happiness to see the work of God among our elders and friends.
There are ten elders in the picture number (7). Three elders couldn't come for the long distances and being sick. 
The same row with uncle Hoa, on his left there are Mr Báu, Mr Trọng, Mr Mãnh, Mr Quang. On uncle Hoa's right are Mr Giáo, Mr Đức, Mr Thi. Behind uncle Hoa, my husband stands between Mr Tân & Mr Khanh. We all stand by The Truth, look foward to Jesus's leading.
In the fellowship we sang the song saying "I am happy being in God's hand, Peacefully knowing that He plans anything for me, my future in God's preserve..."
There are some unprofessed people also sitting and hearing. One among which is my friend through many years.
We continue praying for them...
